How we are making a difference

Future Assist is making a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children by supporting The Smith Family. Future Assist will sponsor the education of 86 disadvantaged school students across Australia each year through The Smith Family’s Learning for Life sponsorship program.

These students will receive financial assistance for educational expenses, and access to The Smith Family’s learning and mentoring programs so they can create a better future for themselves. Future Assist is committed to the education of disadvantaged young people.

“Every Australian child deserves the opportunity to build the best possible life„

Our Pledge Extends Beyond Money

At Future Assist, part of our culture is to give back to the community, and that starts with our partnership with The Smith Family. We offer corporate sponsorship, our employees volunteer, and we have workplace mentoring. Throughout the entire year, each Future Assist employee will volunteer their time to help support the education of disadvantaged children and young people around Australia, because it’s very important to us.

Funding Scholarships

We fund scholarships that assist disadvantaged Australian school children from Kindergarten all the way to 12th grade, in order to help them get the most out of their education, break the cycle of poverty, and create better futures for themselves.

Vocational Mentoring

We provide young people studying at TAFE or University with opportunities to learn real life skills, and assist them in exploring their career paths, whilst getting work experience.

Workplace Giving

Over the Christmas Season, all employees got involved in a Kid’s Christmas Collection Drive, where we collected and wrapped presents for disadvantaged kids. We are also planning to participate in the Gold Coast Marathon Fundraiser in 2018 for The Smith Family.

Our Future Assist employees volunteer their time to the operating aspects of the Smith Family’s Mission.
